Arizona Real Estate License Requirements

~Complete 24 hours of renewal credit (or 30 hours if you are a Designated Broker, or Designated Broker in a supervisory role) within the 2 year period of your current license.

~Salesperson: Your 24 hours must include 18 hours in the 6 required topics, and the balance of 6 hours in any class you desire as long it is not a class you have already taken within the same renewal period.
~Broker:
Your 30 hours and must include Broker Management Clinic 1-3

The 6 required classes consists of at least 3 hours in each topic:

   * Agency Law

   * Contract Law

   * Commissioners Standards
   * Disclosure

   * Fair Housing
   * Legal Issues
   
~While you may duplicate a course type to complete your 24 hours, you may not duplicate a course number during your renewal. It is possible for 2 schools to have the same course name but they will have different course numbers.

~You can renew your license up to 90 days prior to date of expiration.

 

~CAUTION: You may not use any class that you attended during any gap in time between the date of the month you renewed vs. the actual expiration. For example, if your license was due to expire August 31, and you renewed it August 18, you may not use any class you attended from August 18 through August 31 for this or the next renewal period.

The Arizona Department of Real Estate (ADRE) is urging you to renew your real estate license online.
In the event you are unable to renew online, you must go to the Arizona Real Estate Department located at 100 N 15th Ave #201, Phoenix, AZ 85007.

BE AWARE... If you attempt to renew your license or add CE hours at the Real Estate Department office, be prepared to wait for service and pay an additional fee over and above your license renewal fee.
